Brink's is the origin of the CIT business in the USA. The company was founded in 1859 in Chicago by Perry Brink and expanded rapidly in the United States.
In 1956, Pittston, a company born in 1830 from mining, bought the company. Listed on the New York Stock Exchange since 1930, Pittston took the name Brink's Group in 2003.
Since 1972, Brink's Security Luxembourg S.A. has never ceased to take advantage of the experience accumulated in the fields of security and guarding, to offer its customers only quality services offering maximum guarantees required in the sector such as the approval of all its staff by the Ministry of Justice, the Professional Approval of the Financial Sector (PSF) or the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications for the company and all its services.
Brink's Luxembourg is one of the largest employers in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with approximately 1,000 agents professionally trained in the security and surveillance professions and a state-of-the-art remote surveillance centre in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In addition to traditional services such as guarding and transport of valuables, the Company is also a specialist in technical installations (alarm systems, video surveillance, fire detection, armoured doors, etc.) and provides expert solutions to both professionals and private individuals.
Today, the Brink's group is present worldwide. It is represented in more than 130 countries and has approximately 67,000 employees.
